I hope someone out there is getting a nice nights sleep… I suppose my husband is, but he complains that it’s not such a good sleep when I am not by his side (he’s such a sweetie-pie!)
The weather must be changing, my neck, shoulders, hips and knees are letting me know. A change in the weather, and today it was in the mid to upper 70’s near record temperatures for the Denver Area, here in Colorado.
On to the good stuff… I found an excellent place for Contests and Sweepstakes listings… But (before I get too far ahead of myself) I highly recommend that you check out a very useful program that saves you time and helps you keep track of all the Sweepstakes and Contests. The program is called “SWEEP!” and It even helps you fill out those nasty forms. You can get this Program here: www.wavget.com
Don’t worry the program is Free and Spyware Free, not even the popup ads that were on it for a year or so about 4 or 5 years ago…I do however recommend that if you get a lot of use out of the program that you send a little donation to the Creator.
Okay… Now back to the first place that I will send you to, here you can find many Sweepstakes and Contests to enter. All the Contests are categorized(by prize.)They will also show you the allotted entries (be they: Daily, Monthly, Weekly or Once) and inform you of any special rules and ending dates. I am sure that you will note how helpful this is when you use “Sweep!” Also don’t forget to copy and paste the URL into the “Web Site” box inside your “Sweep!” program. The website that I recommend to check out is at:
And now for a fun place to visit that has a contest… This place is Space related and is full of fun toys, collectibles, patches as well as almost anything related to the space program and the space shuttles etc… Here the prize is a T-shirt, one catch though, you must sign up for their newsletter to be entered.
Good Luck, here is the link:

Good bye and good night for now… In my next post I hope to give you some helpful hints on setting up your “Sweep!” program.
Well it’s been an interesting day here today. In Longmont today there was an evacuation by Longmont, IBM & Lockheed Martin and businesses around there were evacuated as a strange cloud of smoke appeared in the sky. I can tell you there was a bit of excitement here as my Father’s work was evacuated & My Mother was finally able to reach me with the news. Of course we had no idea what was going on other then Dad had said that there was a cloud of something above IBM from what he’d seen (while trying to get away he was stuck in grid lock.) News finally came out at around 11am that this was caused by a Lexmark Plant in the area… any how the Story can be found HERE.
It’s been a busy day here today and I think I have some HTML codes that I worked on for the Blog today straightened out as I added my own custom colors to the adwords (google) ad at the top (but now to wait till google crawls to my blog to get to see the pretty colors… right now it just has a public service ad and it looks obnoxious and boring.) I also added in a counter to see how many visits I’ve had… Unfortunately I believe that most of the numbers up there now are my logging in and checking placement of the counter and moving it… and so on. *grin*
Well that’s about it for today, hopefully tomorrow I will have some helpful information on Contests, Sweeps, and online Surveys to post. Till my next post… Take care of yourselves and come on back soon!

Say Hello to Mr Peanut, my loving long haired Daschund!
Today was my day to try and set up a Blog and finally join the online trend. So here we go!
I have been teaching friends and family how to take advantage of Freebies, Contests, Sweepstakes and earn some money online by doing surveys and more. I figured it was time for me to create a Blog with thoughts for the day and links to my favorite resources online. I am also an artist (mostly oil painting) and I love Knitting and crocheting as well as making my own laundry soap etc… I have been called a Renaissance Woman by some because of my creativity and do it yourself tendencies.
Some more about me, I am disabled and suffer from Fibromyalgia and Lupus SLE (along with associated ailments, that I won’t go into detail on, that come hand in hand with both these illnesses.) So I am a home-body and plan to post frequently when I am feeling up to it.
Well, what else can I say, but this is exciting and I can’t wait to get going here… I hope that you will come back and watch this blog grow and have a fun time here. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Next Post: look for some recommended links for some of my above interests and check back often.
