Hi there folks, I was fortunate enough to receive 3 Uglee Pens, the Ergonomic Pen, for a review on the blog. I am so thankful that they sent 3 of these pens, this avoided marital strife at home since my husband would get jealous of this great pen.
I personally have had terrible problems with my hands do in part to my Raynaud’s Syndrome as well as the Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and the nerve damage in my neck that extends down into my hands. My hands don’t like to cooperate with holding things and they cramp up easily as well.
For my husband he has Arthritis in his hands as well as Gout that is not only in his feet, when it flares, but now his hands as well. So my husband has assisted me in reviewing the uglee pens. Yay it’s always nice to get another opinion to share with you.
I found the Uglee Pen quite comfortable, when I first received it I found it sticky and that I didn’t care for, I found myself picking dog hairs and my own hairs off the grip. The ink flows freely from this pen and the roller ball wasn’t stiff. I love working with the pen and with more use I found the grip was no longer sticky, Although the hairs from my long haired Dachshund continue to stick to the grip, but it’s no big deal at all.
I noticed that the top of the pen was loose one day and I realized that you can take the pen apart and refill the pen, I tested it with several pen innards and they worked just fine inside of the pen, however the roller balls that release the ink in one of my pens just doesn’t flow as nice as the one that came with the Uglee Pen.
The Uglee pen gave me no difficulty writing sideways, as I start my grocery lists, by taking notes on the refrigerator. Here is a picture of my polishing up the grocery list with my Uglee Pen.
Uglee Pen Experiences from my husband:
In his life time he learned to write very hard, writing through multiple copies of paperwork at once (good old carbon copies). So his first reaction while using the Uglee Pen was that it’s very narrow under the grip and so the pen bends as he uses it. He let me know that perhaps Military, Police and Security Persons may find the pen bend for them too, if they still need to use carbon copies of their writing.
Otherwise my husband loves the pen, he feels that perhaps it’s being sticky can be solved quickly with a little bit of soap and water, if it bothers you (it was too late to try it with mine as I had used them enough that they are no longer sticky). He also found that the grip is very nice, however almost too forgiving.
All in all the Uglee Pens work exactly as promised, they make writing comfortable and the glide easily on paper. They may start off sticky on the grip area, but that goes away with use. We love our Uglee Pens here! And I now have an Uglee Pen sitting in my cup next to where I work on my laptop, one sits by my husband at all times and I carry one in my purse for use while I am out and about.

Thank you Uglee Pens for entrusting me with the review of their product. I apologize for the wait on the review… between my husband’s heart surgery (that suddenly came up) and my Mother’s Health Problems, the review got pushed aside for a while. Family comes first, before the blog… however I understand time-lines for businesses, I hope you understand. Thank you again for letting me test out
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
