Hi everyone, I hope your all doing well! Have you been searching for beautiful, stylish plus size clothing for yourself, a friend or family member? I was so lucky to be contacted by Alight to do a review and giveaway as they have such a great variety of clothing and accessories.

Ladies, I must say, don’t do what it’s tempting to do… don’t neglect yourself as you are trying to lose weight or hope to, treat yourselves right, dress yourself nicely no matter what your weight is! I gained a lot of weight on the steroids (Prednisone) for my Lupus SLE and I went years neglecting to treat myself to nice clothing, hoping I could get off my meds and get my weight down. Please don’t do this to yourselves, check out Alight Plus Size Clothing for some of the most Trendy Plus Size clothing and cloth yourself, you’d be so surprised at how great you can feel by dressing in stylish clothing!

The examples I am showing below are to show that you can find many choices for a large variety of  tastes and budgets.

And  you can also help those friends and family members feel good about themselves to, it’s not too early to purchase gifts for the Holiday Season either. 🙂 Do like I do and set up a gift box, for those up coming celebrations, Holidays and for one of those “oops, I need something for a gift” times. And this doesn’t have to be just clothing, either as Alight has the most wonderful accessories and jewelry.

Now Alight has just about anything in clothing that you could wish for, and the sales are fantastic… you can look for Jeans, Tank Tops, Blouses, T-shirts and from casual dresses to prom and bridesmaid dresses. I haven’t gotten bored looking around their site still, and I keep coming back to look around, I have picked out a couple of Turquoise and teal shirts that I want to pick up one of these days to replace  the one that I just noticed is wearing out. I just love turquoise and teal with my red hair… so lovely together, so for me it’s a must have color in my wardrobe. I am also looking at some clothing there for some friends that can sure use a pick me up, being that I used to analyze what colors work best for people (Color Me Beautiful) and that Alight has so many styles from Empire Waist to sinched at the waist and ruched styles, there are styles to enhance and camouflage any body type.

I received a dress from Alight and it’s very lovely, nice thin lightweight material for summer wearing and not to fear this dress has a built in lining, also a nice lightweight fabric so that your skin can breath. If you sew, like I do you would appreciate that the tension we perfect on this dress as the needles top and bottom tension is perfect. There was only a slight imperfection  (not a straight line) in a part of the stitching but nothing you’d notice, especially if you don’t sew or examine the seams like I do. lol Yes I have sewn my clothing for years and I tend to be overly critical in my examining the seams, tension and technique. The seams are nicely finished in a serge and the hems are doubled up to a nice finish and no buckling in the hems, the lining layer hangs down nicely with an added  bit of material just below main (outside) hemline, in one of the colors that is in the main part of the dress, this adds a nice finishing touch to the dress.

The dress is also 100% cotton, which is perfect for summer time (my camera acted up when I went to transfer the picture to my computer, so sorry I lost the picture of myself in it, with my shawl on top, to hide the bra straps). To keep myself from doing too much ironing, I take this dress out of the drier while still slightly damp and place it on a hanger straighten out some by hand and let it hang dry… this way the trusty iron only has a few places to touch up and I don’t have to iron the whole dress. 🙂 Also, if you forget to take the cotton item out of the drier while still a little damp… you can do one of two things, one dampen a towel and put it in with just the dress and it will help get rid of some wrinkles… and you can invest in a “Wrinkle Release” product, I love to have some sitting around for those times that I must wear something but don’t have time to iron. 🙂

The dress that was chosen for me is just as lovely as lovely can be, I do have to say that I will want to wear a shawl, a shrug or some sort of cover up over it as I am too large chested to go without a bra and I don’t care for my bra straps to show in spaghetti strapped dresses or shirts. That is the only down side to me with this dress and it’s really not a big deal, I just need to keep in mind, in the near future, that I need to purchase of a good strapless bra to go in this so that I can show off the lovely slimming shape this dress gives to me. 🙂
