Review & Giveaway – Tropical Traditions Laundry Detergent

Have you all heard of Tropical Traditions? I think of them and think Coconut oil mostly but they have a whole variety of household items available for you to use. This is my second review, first one was on the Coconut Peanut Butter, which I love! This second review on the laundry detergent is leaving me equally impressed with Tropical Traditions!

Tropical Traditions sent me a 5 pound jug of their Powdered Laundry Detergent, with the power of oxygen bleach.   The oxygenated bleach is great for stain removals and keeping your clothing fresh and deodorized.  According to Tropical Traditions the laundry detergent is safe at “ALL temperatures on whites, permanent press, bright colors, pastels, prints, and delicates in hard or soft water.”  They do not recommend that you use in silk or wool.  What I really love is that this laundry detergent does not contain any phosphates and is safe for the environment. So for those of you trying to go/live green, this detergent is the perfect choice for you!

My detergent just so happened to be delivered on laundry day several weeks ago so we have had quite a bit of time using it.  I have extremely sensitive skin when it comes to detergents and so many make me itch and get hives around my waste.  This has been happening since I was a child. Per Tropical Traditions, ” With our Laundry Detergent there are no harmful by-products upon decomposition. Powdered Laundry Detergent dissolves as completely as liquid detergents and rinses away completely leaving no residue in your clothes!”  I can say that if you have sensitive skin you ought to give this laundry detergent a try. It certainly worked well for me!  There are directions for different types of machines, water , etc. that you should follow when you get ready to use it!

Let the water start running and add the proper amount of soap in and when it starts dissolving in the water you can go ahead and add your clothes.  Wash and rinse as normal and get a nice, fresh, fragrance free load of laundry.

The only downfall I can see with this Laundry Detergent is that once clothes have been washed and dried, you have to fold, hangup, and put away the clothes LOL!  I like the Tropical Traditions Laundry Detergent and would recommend it to my friends! So, check it out! I don’t think you will be disappointed!

My friends at Tropical Traditions have offered one of you the chance to win a 5 pound bucket of your own! That is very generous and I want to thank them for sharing!
